Just wondering what owners have been learning about the new Mazda6 that they didn't notice before buying it.

Replay!
Never had or saw a car with this feature.
Like having a DVR in your car & can play your songs over & over...Neat!

This might be silly, but I love the blue LED mood lighting at night. I didn't even notice it until a couple days after I bought the car.

I agree. The blue LED mood light is cool (especially if you're wearing white). I also didn't realize that with the advanced key, the seats automatically recognize the keyfob and change the seat position accordingly.

The one thing I don't like is that there is no "ashtray" for receipts and gum wrappers :-(

I dont understand why people still get navi's with their cars. I guess they look nicer but why pay 2000 bucks when you can get a portable one for a 200.

Integrating it into the car not only looks better astethetically, but it's one less thing to have on the dash, only to have it ripped off by someone.

If I can, i'll pay $1k for an OEM navi setup, even if I can get a portable for $200. The flip up/tuck away setup is gorgeous!!

But yeah..portable nav's are fine, but integrated setups are always cleaner and way classier in my opinion.

It was never a question of "feature-to-dollar" ratio. Because obviously, a portable has the same if not more feature-to-dollar. But, it's not as clean hehe.

Elaborate ... post like this are a piece of crap when they don't explain why
the destination point is always off from the actual place. it can be off by a few houses or even by a block. had various dealers checked on it and guess what, mazda tech all said this is "normal" & even one guy showed me his stock nav in cx-9 that does the samething. in other words, they don't have a clue.
the destination point has always been right on the spot in my acura's nav.
so obviously there's a problem with mazda & the pathetic techies just don't seem to have a clue about it.

its actually a common thing...my garmin is always a bit off. i've actually never seen one that is dead-on. i'm sure thats preferred, but its not something that i would be upset about.

oh, i've heard of that excuse from dealers as well.
I owned acura & infiniti vehicle with nav in the past & they had been dead on spot. this one is a disappointment for sure.

And what else? I don't think that one issue makes it a POS

Agree that the LED mood light is cool. Didn't really want the BSM,but it has saved my ass a few times already.
