It is the end of gasoline as we know it.
One of my teachers(sequia institute)had to disrupt class to bring us this heart breaking news.

It seems that they have found an easy way to get hydrogen out of water via sound frequescy(sorry about spelling) very cheaply.and so they decided to start mass producing hydrgen fuel cell cars next year.
As much as I am all for the enviroment I am to damn dedicated to gasoline, and how far we have come with it.I know I will try to hold on to my cars, and truck aslong aas posible, but when gas starts to get to $8.00 a gallon I won't have a choice.

Time to convert to methenal
Or maybe I can just get a head start on modding hydrogen cars?

Sorry I don't have more info for those who even give a shitbut I'll see what I can do later.

i am a serious environmental enthusiast as well as a car FREAK, to this, i say to the EPA and al lthose other fuckholes that are taking away my petrolium,,, EAT A DDIICCKK!!!! i was seriously hoping this would never happen, this is like D-Day for us

well i hope your teacher was mistaken BADLY! good luck guys, hope they start turbocharging those fuel cell cars, (possible? lol) whatever knowing ricers they'll find a way to hook a speaker up to one of those turbo simulators and make it sound that way. i for one will be taking on a second job to pay for my gas, i LOVE my car. END OF STORY

Sorry, wont' happen... read about it and you'll see the cost of making the hydrogen cars is far more expensive. With only like 10 pumping/refilling stations mostly in California this is something that may happen, but no time soon. Thanks for the update, I was really curious to look into this and read more about it. Someday this will be the future once we've exhausted all the fossil fuels, long live the Dinosaurs.

Now would be a good time to build a hydrogen filling station:) You'd be rich sooner or later...

thats the problem GM,FORD,HONDA,TOYOTA,are just a few of the many behind this.this is not old news they just figured out how to do this just to days ago!

The gas companys plan on pumping this s*** at there staions.and since with gas they have to uncover and service there tanks every year this will be nothing but profit for the to sell, especially since it's refined from water with sound!

dont expect to see hydrogen cars before 2010... its not just the technology u have to take into consideration the money behind petroleum and all the industries based on it...

I did take that into consideration, and so did they.you don't seen to understand to them this is like god sent.the faster they get it into there station the faster they make money.

Hey, at least Mazda is working on a hydrogen powered RX-8...Something for us to look forward too:)
EDIT...I just saw it works on BOTH gas and hydrogen...even cooler...

cmon, hydrogen cars > gas.

lets change with the times, people. do you want to rely on the middle east for oil and have them charge you 70 dollars a barrel? **** that, hyrdrogen we can get anywhere.

but then we wouldn't have a reason to go shoot everyone.

yeah.

and sickspeed94, im sure they can make fast hydrogen powered cars. i mean, look , when the gasoline engine was first made its not like it was making 1,000 HP. things take time and tons of refinements to the technology are needed before it can be used to its full potential, but we are on the verge of something new and people just wanna shoot it down. how ******* typical.

and you do realize, even if they started selling hydrogen cars next year, it would be at least like 50 more years until gasoline is totally phased out. so quit yer mindless bitchin about the EPA.

It's not like i don't know a good thing when I here it,it's just that gas has been a part of all our lives for so long.not to menchen thats what I do for a living!and currently getting my SMOG license.

I will have to through away all that I have worked for to let the new kid on the block in.

It's like starting from scratch.

the sky is falling.

dont get your panties in a bunch. gas will still be depended on for many decades to come. it might get up to euro prices eventually, but its not that bad.

from what i heard that we are not that dependent on middle east oil as one would be led to believe, we have plenty of oil in the Gulf of Mexico enough for another couple of hundred of years or more, it's just we are going to use up arab oil first before we use our reserves, sounds like it makes sense to me

not including our alaskan reserves....this is a good topic....i wonder how technology is gonna take us......isnt hydrogen more potent then gas in combustion? more boom = more powa :)
