These rims on MPV.

My wife wants a MPV, so I am suprising her by buying it before she comes back from Iraq. I want to get it lowered and wheels on it. It already has the factory body kit with the chrome accents in the body kit. It is White. Here are the rims. They are 19x9. What do you guys think.

Those rims are sweet, but after doing some research on our MPV, they need to have a high offset like the proteges. I think stock is +50mm on a 16x6 or 17x7, if you lower it you will run into the same problems we have with the Proteges, you might get some fender rub. So, I am not sure those rims would work, they are only a +42 offset on a 9" rim. I think you will be sticking out too far and will probably have other issues. Here are some other rims that I think might look good, although not as good:
18x7.5 +48mm

19x7.5 +48mm

Also, how do you plan on lowering it? There are no springs available here in the states, unless you get some custom made or TEIN has some, but...

before the springs would arrive. And the product would have to be prepaid."

Or you can go air bag setup. I love our MPV and am about to install a DVD/drop down screen in our and have always thought about tricking it out a little. I am also looking at build a custom box for a 10" sub in the factory location.

hehe a pimped out MPV, would be a sick tow car for the modded protege5.

I think fiber images makes a carbon fiber hood for the mpv. that would be a nice touch too.

Intrax does not list a spring for the MPV on their website. I have always wondered if the tribute springs would work on the MPV, but not sure how I would go about checking that out. Several companies make springs for the Escape/Tribute.
