The Mazda salesman just called me to follow up on my service visit Tuesday to get the wheel locks installed on our new P5. He also let me know that Mazda has upped the warranty period for ALL 2003 Mazdas to 4 years/50,000 miles. Anyone who has already purchased a 2003 Mazda will be getting notification in the mail from Mazda. I remember this being kicked around on one of the forums here, but this makes it official. Jim

I just closed a deal on a new '03 P5 yesterday and they made no mention of such a change. It would suprise me that they would no know of this as this dealer is in Irvine, CA and MAZDAs North American Headquarters is a mile away.

The salesman told me the increase was announced today. I'd say call your salesman and ask.

At delivery, I received a $500 rebate on our P5 that I knew nothing of. I searched the web and Mazda and found no mention of a rebate for Proteges. Jim
