The Top Gear/Fifth Gear Video Thread

amazon uk (search top gear) there are several that im getting when i get over there. benefits of region free dvd players. going to be in HK, Manila, etc so i hope to score some region free copies. will make a general post about it or just pm people when i get back.
i could be persuaded to burn the ones i have but im using blu ray so.... i only know a handfull out people that have the burner now so there is a compatibility issue for you if you dont have the equipment. plus im leaving the country on the 23rd of this month to head to london and hang with some buddies there, on to spain then to germany and on to china, japan, the philippines and back sometime in july. might be quicker to just order from uk, they ship really well so no worries.
hope to be bringing back a japan ps3, down side is Japanese region disk and all in japanese and no games (cause of blu ray) are in the us yet. i know one guy who has a 60 gb ps3 for testing (there was talk of 100 gb for full movies OMFG), sickness on hd. will pm when i get back and know more.

Wow awesome post. A Top Gear thread is on www.mpsport.net as well, with tons of links. The best has to be the one above the highlighted one, the ski jump one. These guys are funny, but this is just outright hilarious, funniest stuff ever!!
Fifth Gear is so much more enjoyable for me as a car enthusiast. The hosts are all awesome: Tiff Needell is an amazing driver and his exuberance and earnestness shine when he gets excited about a car he's testing. Jason is seemingly sharper at the ragged edge than the experienced Needell, being a current touring car racer. Vicki is cute and gives us single car guys all hope, although she gets a bit obnoxious with her squealing at times.
Top Gear seems like it's written for plebeians with ADD with the outlandish comparisons (Exige vs. Mustang GT, anyone?), indecipherable hyperbole by Clarkson, and stereotypical role of the wannabe sophisticate, May. I do like the Hamster's segments, though, in spite of the silly scripts he has to read.

that was dumb how they ragged on the suspension of the MS6. It's a touring car!! Not a racecar or something like an Evo. Not the best of minds on that show.
