The Slammed Life

heres a good question for yall.
i installed yellow speed coilovers on my pro5 yesterday and i find shes not laying low enough , not as u guys anyway
i have the speedprotege racing harts with no spacers.
i preload the spring 10 turns of the nut on all 4 and locked it there.
then i lowered the front and back...
in front i maybe have 1/4-1/2" left of thread to lower it more
in the back i have enough to lay the rear end on the rockers.

so my question would be as followed:

do i have enough preload on my spring to start with?
im thinking if i preload the spring more i might get more threads to lower it more?

is anyone here riding on yellows ?

thanks in advance! and i cant wait to be slammed.

im rolling on yellowspeeds, for my preloadi have it set 5mm from 0 preload and i love the ride quality, i have plenty of room to lower my car even, i think im pretty load, right now im just sitting high enough where my rears arent hitting fender walls until i get wheels and then ill setup everything
my sideskirts are about 4.75in from ground

you know how to get to zero preload and how to adjust height correctly right? i know some ppl lower the car by adjust springs

I think so lol. Unscrew the 2 top nuts until spring comes loose. Then turn till spring is seated. Thats ur 0 preload. Then i preload whatever on the springs, lock that in place and unscrew the bottom nut and lower the whole coil/shock into the knucle part? It this the propper way

thats the right way to lower it, i wouldnt mess with preload too much, unless you can actually tell the difference in your ride and you like what you did.
but yea man check the first page to get a jist of how low you should be, there should be atleast one member with similar wheel/body effects. then you can see how low you need to go lol

he just wants to be lower then me.. I had my car about an 1" lower then his last year rocking my 18s..

It looks good I think you should do lower profile tire and keep the suspension where its at. You may not be slammed but I like the wheel body color combo

Dropped 2 inches on Megan Racing Springs. My front tires are obliterated on the inside. I need to adjust my camber, positive I assume? I'm looking at camber bolts. These bolts can adjust positive or negative up to 1.75*. Is that enough to straighten me out? Are camber bolts legit? I'm seeing anywhere from 13-25 bucks when I search fro them. I assume that is a set of 2.
