The Slammed Life

Ya that is close man but looks sexy man. Here is a pic of my car uncamber but tucking the same. I think I am going to lower it a bit cause the uncambering raised it about another .25 of an inch.

Decided I am going lower. Turns out my front springs were not 20mm shorter like I ordered previously. Hopefully I just need new springs and not shorter struts in the front. Need to check how far the bottom of the strut is from the axle.

Dude u ca jus leave it the way it is but have it descend on the spring and u will dumped

I am all the way down in the front with the spring compressed with 8mm of preload. There is no going lower unless I pull the collar, and that only nets me 1/4" and is the same amount of work as replacing the spring. I would rather just get shorter springs and do it the right way with correct preload.

Ya I thought if u had shorter spring u have it raised all the way so it's like 5 mm's away from the axel boot and then have it disend and inch and a half onto the spring ya I had it like that my s*** was like .5 inch off the ground

Can anyone give me some incite on the clearance issue between my exhaust and lateral support; should I just look into getting a different S bend done, or is running it under the sub frame a feasible idea?

Good to hear someone likes to do it right :). Pre load is never good on any strut. Should always have 2/3rds of the shock travel devoted to compression and the other third devoted to rebound

bump.

tell me im not the only one with lateral support clearance issues?
thought you guys were slammed... haha.

RSB hits lateral arms. Adjusting rear endlinks slightly shorter barely helped. I have a reverse rake. Although car appears near level(sideskirts to ground). I do want to fix that though. These cars have a natural rake from factory. As soon as I get around to replacing my front fender liners and installing my AAC bumper brackets, I'll spin my coils up. I'll also need another front end alignment. That reminds me I need to find my measuring caliper.

+1 to longer endlinks. MSP RSB also helps a lot since it is shorter and sits below the lateral arms

started the process of putting the coils on. the fronts for now since im still finishing up my 5 speed swap plus a lot of mp3 goodies.
