The Protege 5 era is over for me

Well, I'm getting rid of my 2nd P5. Sad day indeed.

At least I'm getting another mazda. 2013 mazda 3. Couldn't pass the deal up plus the P5 needed alot of work and I got a good trade in price considering what needed to be done.

I'm not even excited for the new car yet - I'm sad I'm getting rid of the p5!

What trim level 2013 MZ3 are you getting? I've personally been casually looking at Mazda3s as well knowing my P5 isn't gonna last forever even though it's in good physical and working condition. Been wanting to get out of a MT car to make it easier on the family to have a second dependable car to drive. I've been looking at 2007-2009 GT, 2013 Mazda3 iGT, and 2014 MZ3 SGTs.

I sold my P5 in 2011 and bought a 40,000 dollar 4runner. I liked the P5 MUCH better! I wish I would have just dealt with the rust and maybe put a turbo kit on it.

Now the wife has a 4runner and I'm in an MSP. It's nice, has low miles and it's much quicker than the P5, but... No bike will fit, no rear door pockets (I know, minor; but still buggin) I can't have more than 2 surfboards because of the subwoofer, trailer hitches wont fit because of the rear skirt, and it's getting so damn rare that even the Mazda dealer argued with me whether they ever made a turbocharged Protege. I had to take him outside and show him the car. (screwy)
