The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

Anyone else going to the late night Superfly this Saturday in Akron?

I have to work Sunday morning at 4am, so late night Superfly would be past my bedtime Saturday night haha.

I seemed to have missed alot already today. If you didn't see the post in the meet thread, just wanted to thank everyone again for comming out.

Nick, that's why I didn't take up Sunny on his offer to drive his car. The MS3 I drove with you has left a lasting impression, but so has the 6.

Not to beat a dead horse but MS3 = trackable that's DD & ST = DD that's trackable IMHO. ST seems more civil and MS3 is more raw but both can get the job done very well.

I'm not too familiar with the ST, but why the hell didn't they put a REAL LSD in it? I think I read that it electronically applies the brakes to make it an e-diff. If that's the case, I would think brake pad wear would suck if you track the car.

I'm sure that's the real simple explanation of how the diff functions, it also does something similar to what the MS3 does in 1-2 gear but on the fly, but yeah no traditional mechanical diff. :(

At first I thought Nate demodded his car so mucb he turned it into that ES Protege.

The line for the rides in the Monte Carlo were too long...
I'm 99 percent sure no one knew it was mine unless they asked where my mazda was

I think Ford wants to be tech-ie and considered innovative. My opionon formed on what I read. That's why I would consider it more of a DD that you could go out on the track every now and then.

That makes sense. I feel like the Ford would require a lot more money to get it to a hardcore track car than it would to get a MS3 there (with equal performance).

Nate would be able to strap that cf roof cap to my roof just to get it home? I don't know how elze I would get it.

There was a ST there sunday he had r-comps so I guess we can see how he did. He was beating the piss out of it though

There was one there Saturday too. He had Recaros and they are fantastic btw. I want those seats for my car. With 2 of the 3 letters already I can just draw the "i" on in sharpie.

I'm happy with the MS3 sport seats. I mean they hold nice and I'm small so I fit in anything and they don't have leather so I don't slide

Well the seats in the MS3 are much better than the STi seats unfortunately for me.
