I got a quote from Hagerty a while ago since progressive won't insure something that old with out sending an agent to value it. For the Camaro it was something like $26 a month. The lowest they would go in value was $4k which is more than what it's worth.

They do "tuner cars" also. With the p5 only going to see summer collector ins might be an option for you.

Yeah, I need to look into that, especially since my insurance is so bloody high ($103 a month through Progressive for the Milly and P5 and nothing on my driving record) I need to do what Phen does with the Miata and have the insurance taken off in the winter.

s***, I have the 7 listed as my work vehicle, and the saturn as my wife's daily and the 6 fully covered through progressive, i pay $370 for 6 months

Yeah, my GF, who totaled her last car, pays $65 a month for full coverage on her Audi. My credit isn't that bad. Not sure why mine is so freaking high. And I switched from State Farm about a year ago ($130 a month).

Also, if you can afford it, do pay in full for 6 months at a time.

Yes, however, depending on the company, the don't affect the premiums, but state law requires them to list the incidences on the underwriting of your policy.

soooo.... talking to phen yesterday i now have an absolutely hiliarious and awesome idea for a set of winter wheels and i will also be redoing/refreshing the OZ's as they need a little bit of TLC

If it's going to warm (70's) this weekend I am painting my wheels too. I tried a can of the "rollbar" paint from Autozone (I forget the brand VHT or something) on a metal bracket for the motor and it turned out really well. I'm going to shoot my RPF1's black then get the little red Enkei stickers to make them look stock. Because Rice Car.
