Crazy what people used to do in racing. The intro the Watkins Glen episode of the show about Grand Am (that I can't remember the name of) was really interesting. The old footage of cars blasting through town and getting air over the railroad tracks and going under overpasses in roadsters without even seatbelts was crazy.
Oh, and my Chevelle will someday be a Time Trial car because that just looks like so much fun....

Well, Spicy will be headed down the road tomorrow to get measured for a custom FMIC, nstall a AEM Wideband and the Split Second A/F ayatollah air controllah.......then she is going to get repainted, bye bye rust and bubbling paint! andd then the serious works begins. Suspension, suspension, suspension........corner balanced spring testing to find the perfect fit for Mid-Ohio and nationals. We should have a pretty good Mazda turnout in Time trials
TTE: Jonathan Davis, he got a Spec Miata, Mark Freemal with his Miata, Rob Piekarczyk and hs MP3 TTD: Bill Brees (SM76) he is the record holder at Mid-Ohio and a former TTE National Champ, Mark Domo in the RX-8, Me & Spicy, looks like we'll have a lot of local flavor. Maybe Jr. Jaco and the not so slow P5 can move of the ladder quickly and joins us.....Not impossible as you did look pretty good out there. Better yet, smack Phen around and track the MSM..

well Whitney just got back home from a day at LMS (haha)
clutch and flywheel and trans mount are all in
and i painted the OZ's silver (had to do something about the chipped to hell black paint haha)
and i think the guys can agree, she pulls pretty damned well

Ol busted junk still bolted to the motor. All of the stuff dangling really throws the autofocus for a loop, plus low lighting..
Trans, tied to the jack. The strut was a real bear to get off the brake bracket/hub metal thinger
