Yeah, 16x8 +32 mm with 225/50R16 - not really Protege fitment specs. Some could probably get the wheels to work ("that" crowd) but the tires are too tall. Might work for MS3/MS6 though?

I figured as much but wanted to ask anyway. Wait....hmmmmm....run them on the wifes 3 (as long as it doesn't require anything crazy) and swap her RX8 wheels to mine..... Only negative to that is I'd have to get her approval first. What tires are on them? Since she's running a 16x7.5 now I was going to replace her stock 205/55's with a 225/50 when the time came.

Aw man....now I've got to ask...why'd you go all baller status with those specs? Should have toned it down and got 16x7s with a +45 offset.
