The MP3 is dead!!!

Yup, you heard it right. My MP3 is scrap. I got rear ended on the highway yesterday and I think it may get totaled out by AAA. So that's one less HZ MP3 on the road in Northern Cali. I'll try to visit here everynow and then, but later for now.

bad thing is that I owe more than the car is worth so if they do total it. I get screwed even more. I will try to get pictures to post, but everything on the drivers side from the middle of the drivers door all the way back to the middle of the trunk is smashed to bits. The whole passenger side is in perfect condition. Funny thing is that all 4 of the wheels are untouched. I'll also try to salvage any sellable part that I can to slang off, but if things works out like I think they're going to. I won't be able to take anything off of the car.

Yes I'm ok, but my whole left side still hurts a bit. Probably because the drivers side door smashed into me when I hit the Yukon. Well, I was cruising along in some moderate traffic on the way to pick up my girlfriend from work when all of the sudden I noticed the cars in front of me doing some hard braking. I had plenty of room so I didn't worry. But a Honda Accord in front of me swerved out of the lane to avoid hitting the Yukon Denali in front of it. Once the Accord was gone I thought I was safe and had even more room to stop. But, just then I thought....s***..if I'm slamming on my brakes then what about the cars behind me. Sure enough, just as I glanced up to look into the rear view mirror. A white 2002 MRS came flying into my rear. He hit the rear left tail light and that flung me about 10 feet or so sideways and I flew into the rear of the Yukon Denali's rear bike rack sideways and that did an amazing amount of damage to my car. The tow truck driver sounded optimistic when he first looked at my car, but when he saw that the roof line just above the doors had buckled from the accident he said that it was a bad sign and my car couldbe totaled.

To make matters worse. I had just moved into a new apartment with my girlfriend not even 8 days prior to this accident and I am my girlfriends ride to work. I will have a rental car first thing monday morning, but this s*** is driving me crazy not knowing what's going to happen to my financial status. Since I don't have then best of credit largely because of this car. I can't just go out and buy another vehicle. Life sucks right now and I don't know what's gonna happen. I'm trying to stay optimistic, but it's tough man. Next to my girlfriend, my car was the only other thing that I loved. I know it sounds stupid, but hey.... Thanks for all of the support guys and gals. It's nice to see that people actually give a s***.

What really cooks my noodle is that I was doing nothing wrong. I wasn't driving fast, I wasn't breaking any laws. But, some guy who probably is a good person just had a lapse of judgement for a couple of seconds and as a result he's destroyed my car and god knows what else.

in your situation, i really hope it's not totaled. it may never be the same again, but at least you'll still have a car until you pay it off or something.
