The Curse Strikes Again.....

Insurance totaedl mine in a 20mph accident about a year ago... They estimated 7K+ in damages. I bought her back to part her out, then decided to fix her up anyway. Looks like ill be able to get her back on the road for about $4500 (thanks to friends on the forums and in the repair biz) and I own it now!

The moral of the story is... its not always as bad as the insurance company makes it out to be.

pay for repairs? what about insurance?

It was originally looking like insurance wasnt gonna cover anything but now I think they will. The one thing is that I will have to order a whole new wheel and tire which would cost about $300. Now I can get a whole new wheel and tire set up for $800-$1000 and I am temped to!

I am looking at these two:

I would want to get 17's. The first one I like alot but it is only 7 inches wide. The second is a bit busy but it is a killer 8 inches wide for 17's!

yeah get 17s you could pick up a decent used set for cheaper too. or even a used p5 rim for cheap (ebay?)

My wife hit my P5 the other day, with my SILVERADO! I woke up to a loud crash. She was backing up and accidently put it into drive, bam. Right into the rear right side of it. Completely took out the Hatch, bumper, and crumpled the C piller. Progressive has it right now, and its being inspected to see how much damage.

I did just get my new alarm/remote start installed today though. Python 872P. It has this cool feature where I can set the alarm to go off silently and alert the keyfob when it does. I'll be waiting around the corner with a bat the next time I park in Montreal... (smash)

The repairs are under way. Insurance is not gonna cover the damages so its all commin out of my pocket. I'm probably gonna have to sell it once all the repairs are done.

Anyone wanna buy my ECU? lol

Insurance wont cover it because I failed to notice that I accidentally declined Collision when I bought it online. It was my screw up.

Thank god I'm not married! I probably don't need a car when I move back to DC for school at the end of the summer with their great public trans system so its all good.
