Given sales of CUVs these days, I'd say that Americans like hatchbacks just fine, so long as we get to pretend that they're little trucks.

I dont pretend mines a truck lol. Road vehicle 99%. Here in Texas trucks/full size suvs are everywhere. Obviously an unnecessary and poor choice for the majorty of the owners imo.
