haha.... its a great engine, i just dont like the cars at all.

too big... turn radius is ******* ass.... all the ones I have driven where sloppy in the corners. We even had a Firehawk with the bilstien suspension and still felt like a boat.

Now this guy is special, its the car on the right from the picture above, he installed a harness bar but only had two mounting points attached at the back of it. Did not mount it up at the bends closer to the seat, instead he used those mounts to secure his harness haha

That's cool. I'm looking into getting an RX8 steering wheel and then getting an adapter to have steering wheel radio controls. It would be cool to have a red one but that may stand out too much. Classic black is always in style

just to let you know.. the red ones which i dont have yet go for double the cost of a black one.

but ill get back to you later on today, are you going to need the air bag? the one wheel i know i have just not sure of the condition has a blown bags.

I need airbags. I'm happy with black. The pic I posted looks just like the wheel in my Mazda3. I know the RX8 had two wheel designs and I don't know how I feel about the other one, it's pretty neat

the new design that you just posted might be the differnt style attachment to the do now to attach to the steering column. I just took apart the 08 Speed3 wheel and it didnt have splines.

here is a picture of the 08 MS3 Wheel, im pretty sure the first rx8 wheel you posted has the splines. The second one im not sure, i havent had a wheel in like that.

instead of splines its like a socket

Here is a Mazda6 wheel put on a protege. I could use that speed3 wheel. I believe they use that socket like connection instead of splines

It seems like a lot of good parts (doors, fenders, glass, quarter panels) are left on the cars when they go out to scrap, I guess those parts are not worth sitting on waiting to sell.

not really, quarters are a b**** to cut out and the cars are so old or not worth put that much money back into them.

We keep some doors, just not all of them, glass... in FL if you have full coverage you can your windshield replaced for free. Its a safety law plus they too are a b**** to take out with out breaking them lol
