Terrible Siruis reception

Anybody else experiencing terrible Sirius reception? We have a new 2010 CX-9 GT, and just signed up for the free 6 month trial. I swear we see the "acquiring signal" message at least once every 3-4 minutes. There are some trees nearby, but nothing significant. It even happens with a clear view of the sky.

Our previous car with XM never ever had any trouble at all.

Suggestions?

Nope, going good in the Pacific Northwest, even on cloudy days i rarely get the signal message.

had one issue with our Sirius, had to take to dealership for them to do an update. But I would recommend you call XM/ Sirius and have the signal resent to your headunit, while the vehicle has a clear view of the sky. Sometimes that will cause a update to rectify said issue.
