I'll start:

I had a Cocker once named Sophie. Smartest dog I ever owned. When one of my nephews was learning to walk, he wanted to pet her. However, in the effort, he would often fall on her, pull her ears, etc. She wasn't a biter, so she was really frustrated by his "accidents". She'd whine and leave the room , but soon, she just got fed up. One day, I was watching from the kitchen as my nephew toddled around the den after Sophie. She would sit down and watch him out of the corner of her eyes until he had hit the brakes and was tilting over to pet her. Then she would sloooooowly lean back until he was pretty much off balance, and a fuzzy paw to the shoulder did the rest, whamp. My nephew would giggle and start to right himself and Sophie would reposition. She did it to the little sucker about a dozen times before he got tired of the game and left her alone. Soone enough, he managed to add knee bends to the whole petting equation, and things went back to normal. I just wish that I had a vidcam that day, it was hilarious!

Still thinks she is 10 lbs

I hav ea border collie X with Golden retriever... she is a beautiful dog. everyone tells me and her that... LOL She is my girl.... one of the two in my life....

Like every dog they do get in trouble once and awhile.... as a puppy she would get scared of my mad voice. She would barrel down to the couch and hide underneath it as far as she could... gazing at the first site from that 4 inch gap.. it was so funny that I couldn't stay mad.... as she grew up she got bigger, she is 52 lbs now.

Now if ever she gets in trouble which is very rare but still happens she still runs to the same couch... but can only fit her head underneath the couch.... the rest of her body just sits in the wide open.... I have played games with this. I have gone to the back of the couch lifted the flap and played pic a o boo with her... she was like oh oh he found me.... I lefted the couch looked at her and she had her eyes closed like it was please dont' see me please don't see me.... LOL it's funny eveyrtime.. yet still very cute....

Man, I don't have time to type a long reply right now, but I have 2 labrador puppies right now... I promise you all some funny stories.

I used to have a Shar Pei before my Rotty... If you don't know what those are, they're the wrinkly dogs that have curly tails. Anyway, one day I was walking her through a crowded outdoor shopping village and she farted! I was so embarassed because, of course, everyone thought it was me! To top it off, it was THE worst smelling one ever! I don't think it's humanly possible to fart as bad as she did, but everyone around just stared at me like I was a freak... You can bet I left really quickly, and I changed her diet right away. lol
Raisin passed away from cancer when she was just 2, but I'll never forget what a funny and adorable dog she was, despite her questionable manners.

i have mini poodle that would act like it's crippled to get our families attention.

she would start limping and after we pick her up and hold her for awhile we would put her down and walk perfectly normal again...

My cat, Banjo, takes showers. He also lays on my chest and licks my face when I am trying to sleep and he wants something. If I try to sleep on my side, he will sit right next to my pillow and punch me in the nose until I wake up.

Well not exactly a funny story...but it all turned out ok in the end so it's a story to tell.

I live on the third floor of an apartment building and on this day let my cats out onto the balcony. My balcony happens to be right over the entrance way that has some lovely bushes and plants near the walkway.

On this day, my brother was coming to pick up some chairs from me with his wife. I gave them a hand bringing them downstairs and then we were just standing for a minute to say goodbye outside at the entrance. I had my back to the bush but all of a sudden, my sister-in-law said she thought there was an animal in the bush. I just shrugged it off and said it was probably just a bird. She disagreed and said "No, I think it's a cat"....so I looked over now thinking maybe it was a stray...and all of a sudden I see this grey/white cat go jetting out of the bush around the building. I said..."that's not just a cat...it's MY cat Ryoki!". She'd for some reason jumped off the balcony! I went and got her around the corner although she was majorly freaked out. She was ok tho, so it all turned out good. :)
