I was looking at these springs and was wondering if anyone has them and if they are worth the money and if you like them.

i have them. they are a great price, and in my opinion do a great job lowering your car...if you want a stiffer setup, you might want to go with different springs or a coilover setup depending on your budget...i would say they are better from a appearence standpoint than a performance standpoint...but they do both well for me...

I also have the Teins and have to agree in saying that they will retain the stock ride quality if you have a P5. I didn't think they lowered the car enough until I rode in a friends car today and let someone else drive my car. After seeing the car when it was moving, I am convinced that it looks good at it's current height.

yea i was also looking at buying the TIEN's..how are they vs. the eibachs's?
are you comparing them to the pro kit? the pro kit will be stiffer. they are race springs.. teins like said above, are more of a lowering spring for looks.. eibachs, at least the pro kit, is for performance. the teins would be more comparable to the eibach sportlines. they are more of a lowering/show car spring.. but the pro kits are for performance

I think you've got it bass-ackwards.

Eibach Sportlines are "race springs" with a very aggressive drop, and ride firmness.

Eibach Prokit (for the P5) is 1.4F 1.2R and has a ride quality close to stock. In comparison the Tein's are 1.8F 1.5R.

Just an FYI.

Have anybody compare the ride quality between Tein and H&R? I know H&R doesn't have enough drop compare to Tein, but what's the ride quality compare to Tein?

thanks

prolly feel the bumps and whatnot more in the H&R because they are very firm, where the teins will be softer and easier on the ass

Damn you beat me to the post. I listed that information in another post. I do wish the Tein's were a bit stiffer though.

:D

Same with the Eibach's. Hopefully the OE MazdaSpeed struts will give me what I'm looking for (they sure do look sweet sitting here in my kitchen.) I'm lazy these days.... :p

I can't seem to decide between Eibach, H&R, and Tein..

Tein gives me close to ride quality, but kinda too low for me but acceptable in extreme case.

Eibach also gives me close to ride quality, but I don't like how it is 1.4 drop in front and 1.2 in back. I rather have same all around.

Now leaves me with H&R, everything is nice but people are saying they're stiff. ...

>_<

It seems Tein drop more compare to H&R in picture, I could be wrong tho. :/

Stock struts will should hold those springs right?

yes but with any drop youre gonna wanna get new struts eventually...here is a pic of the gap with my 17s
