Those taillight overlays look awesome on the sedan taillights. I like the blacked out emblems too, though I think I would leave the front emblem silver.. but that's just me, it's how I have my car :)

I may spring for the black overlays for my turn signal lights but I don't know if I'd want to do the reverse lights too, are they even functional with the covers on?

I actually haven't checked out my signals yet to see if they're still pretty visible but I hear the overlays only dim them a little.

**edit**
I just checked the signals and there barely seems to be any difference.

I went with the smoked color. The embelems were pretty easy though. I need to repaint the protege embelem because I rushed to put that one back on the car and it left my fingerprint on a small part of it. All I did was used a flathead screwdriver to push out the little pins connected to the rear embelems that were glued to the inside of the latch, sand with 400 grit, apply a few coats of primer, 4 or 5 coats of paint and added 3 coats of gloss. Same went along with the front as well.

No there wasn't any choice at how dark you could get. IIRC that's only for the headlight overlays and all I got was the rear turn signals. Im guessing if he used to same vinyl from the headlight overlays then it would have to be the 6/10.

Nice, I like the overlay too! Has anyone had any issues with getting stopped by the police more?

my tails are tinted from the factory. cops usually won't give you crap as long as it lights up amber.
