taking out back seats

im racing tomorrow and i was wondering if i shouold take out my back seats and spare tire to tighten the car up what do you all think

you mean like the entire back seat? like butt cushion AND back support? I know the butt cushion weighs like 3 lbs so it wouldnt be worth it to me but it is easy to yank out.

The spare and all that carpet and board s*** in the trunk you could take out.

All mats etc.

ok, well lets see...

spare tire, jack, wrench, back cardboard covering, carpet (trunk) = about 45 lbs.

1/4 tank of gas if you can will give you a good weight redux as well

all mats, passenger seat if you want (only 4 bolts) pillars (a-pillars) should give you about = 40 lbs

Thats about 100 lbs there.

pass seat is good for about 30 lbs AT MOST.
