Has anyone taken off their side door molding strip on a white 2007 mazda 3? I have noticed that its a slight yellow im assuming from basic weather wear... but my main concern is that when I do remove those side panels will the underneath also be a different color then the rest of the car as they have not been exposed before? And I believe ive read on here then all need to do to remove them is like debadging a car by taking a fishing line or something of that short and just glide across untill it comes off and use goof off or something right!!!

Yes, it apears yellow because you have a white car. It will come right off and the color underneath is the exact same color white. Use fishing line and go be gone and a microfiber towl to clean off the excess sticky s***. Also use a hair dryer that blows somewhat hot. It makes it easier/

So i took off my side molding.... and its yellow. You can really tell where they were..will that fade so it willl look like nothing was there or am i always going to have that yellow line?

Um trying washing your car a few times and scrubbing hard on that area and see what happens

Careful not to scrub too hard if you do thta. It could scratch your paint. I just took mine off 2 weeks ago with an 07 and the gray mica is slightly darker :/

It should fade with time. Like xMazdax said just wash it a few time. sunlight will help fade it as well. If none of the above works try some goo B gone or goof off and give it a GENTLE scrub followed by immediate washing and waxing of the area.

well what i decided to do is do a cleaner wax... then polish... then wax... it for sure helped. you can still kinda see it but its not as bad.. and with it being in the sun too it should fade over time.. ill be patient and wait!.

See man, with a little bit of courage (pun intended) one can do anything. it will dissappear quickly enough and you wont even think about it.
