synthetic trans fluid to stop grinding???

I took my car to the dealer because it was grinding when i shift quickly from 2nd to 3rd i talk to someone else they said they got there gear sycroniser replaced i mention it to the tech and he said mazda told him to try replacing the fluid with synthetic fluid. Do you think this will work? He also said that the allingment specs are different then the regular protege so they are gonna get the specs and aline my tires again. still pullin to the right :mad:

Synthetic fluid will just quiet it a little, but the still will be grinding. If they grind, thats bad. Have them replace the syncros. Car will allways pull to the right, it was born that way. If they try to fix it you will get even more uneven wear on your tires.

ya, tell him while he is changing the fluid to change the synchros while he is at it
