switching form bpv to bov

yeah, guy you have no idea what youre talking about... if you ever hope to vent to atmosphere (even if its only 50%) you NEED to relocate your MAF... like tweety said.. he explained it all for you, i honestly dont know why you didnt take his advice right off the bat.. id say about 99% of us on here who arent stock have relocated our MAF.

Fmic will not raise pressure...

FMIC almost never raises pressure. It is possible though. If the pressure drop of the FMIC and piping is less than that of the factory intercooler and piping it is possible for a slight bump in pressure (also depends on where the wga line is hooked up.)

Read 505 Zoom. Deleting turkey. 3 ways to go about it, one is you do not have to relocate the maf. Like I said, If I have to relocate the maf I will. Not a hard fix. I have read alot about the protege and would not do something untested. The only thing that concerns me is that there are to pressure relieving devices in 505 Zoom's advice. Might go wrong but it will be my research. Also. if the instructions frm Corksport that came with the front mount said it does raise intake pressure by 1 to 2 psi, I will believe the manufacturer of the product. Your advice is on my mind, I am not diregarding it.

But when everybody relocates the maf don't you think that would be the best way? Regardless until you do it will run rich inbetween shifts and spit fire out which can damage cats and o2 sensors

I just replaced another wide band sensor from it in the past 6 months I'm on my 3rd

Or just straight pipe the thing, screw the O2 sensor, and let the flames fly... I know its not all that good for longevity, but it is bad-A** watching flames discharge from the back end like a rally mobile!

I could reloctate my MAF anytime after the type h blow off valve install. My bypass valve can go off and the engine is fine. If I do it while giving it gas it will affect it. I respect all the info givin and reading. The silencer is going back in.
