Switchblade keyfob sticking

I tend to play with the switchblade key in my pocket when standing in line, etc, and today it decided that it doesn't like that. When I hit the button to pop the key out, it only moves a tiny bit, and I have to shake it to get it to come out of the groove.

i tried to take it apart to look for any lint or something catching, but found nothing.

I'm tempted to spray some wd-40 in there, but was curious if anyone else had any similar issues/solutions for me?

whelp nevermind. i fixed it. i put my pocket knife between the metal and plastic, right by the button, and separated it a bit, then blew some compressed air in there. seems to have gotten rid of whatever what catching.
