Switch from pannaut fmic to perrin fmic. **56K warning**

Also in PERRIN's defense, just about any product that is sold in the aftermarket carries the exact same warning/disclaimer...We all want show/race cars that we can drive on the street, and in order to get that you have to give some things up...One might be saftey, durability (CF Hoods/Bodykits) etc....

I am not an engineer so take this for what it is worth, but I think the stock beam is designed to send the pressure around the engine bay so the block does not end up in your lap. Putting extra reinforcement, might not be the way to go. I would ask some one who works at mazda, what the stock bar was designed to do.

Just my .02
I'm agreeing with this statement. I'm totally sure but if the bar was much stronger it might not transfer or transform the energy properly it may end up in the block getting put through the interior of the car, or perhaps the body of the occupants may absorb the energy... Its the same reasoning behind why they make cars to crumple instead of being completely invincible to damege... the Driver and passengers would end up a pile of mush if such a car was involved in a colision.
