just wondering what it could be ....?

every once in awhile I'll hit a bump in the road and I hear a sound almost like a piece of metal *clinging* not too loud and not every darn bump in the road.

drivers side front I believe... now that its getting very warm up here my windows are open and I think I'm hearing it more.

I just want to have an idea if I take it to the dealer under warrantee I hate when they say "We couldn't replicate what you were experiencing"

Also... twice now I've had god awful metal scrapping noises in my wheels as I drive (not braking it goes away during braking) for no apparent reason ... so loud you'd think a piece of sheet metal got stuck between your brakes and disks. i'll bring it in the next day and every time the service dept. says nope we saw nothing out of the ordinary...

Thoughts.... on either issue?

Brake noise is new brake pads being thick and close to the rotors. It will go away as they wear in.

The other noise is the sway bar bolts loose. I had my rear right and front right come loose. Have the dealer re torque all the sway bar bolts.

Yeah I guess you could call them that. They are the bolts holding the ends of the sway bars on and most of us have found them to be loose from the factory or become loose with driving.

okay thanks so much!! I was suspiscious of that I was reading another thread on here I think by AutoX how his OEM endlinks came loose and the dealer refused to fix based on his mods ..... and thats a whole 'nother story
