Nice times, but I thought I read on the 12 second pass you did before that you were running 30+psi and this one was at 25psi? That doesn't sound right to me, how do you go faster with less boost, was nitrous involved in this? I mean, you said there was an interior, but someone was there to see different. Maybe you say no nitrous but there really was?

It was never at 30psi. 26 max. Better slicks, skinnies in the back, better/new quaife lsd, better prepped track.
I just looked and he did say 30+psi. Now if this was sarcasim....sorry, I don't get sarcasim on the internet as easy as in person. The other supporting mods do help and with a more lightweight car, that makes a big difference as well I guess.

The car was actually at 24 psi as Manuel told me. They thought they were running the max boost but it was at 24 psi.
They had new tires, skinnies in the rear and cryo treated tranny. We could run a faster speed but the setup was to make the best ET.
We really wanted to show that the kit, the way it comes in everyones order, is capable of running 11 seconds. Remember that we have no ignition control, just fuel and that we are running stock Mazda modified pistons to make the lower compression. We maxed out the turbo, but we made it. like I said, we will now put the Hardcore in this car and will see what can happen.
To clear about the 30+ boost claimed before, it was a joke. The turbo is not capable of more than 26 psi. It just goes to 26 and then drop to 22 or so. This is with no wastegate at all. Welded port. This is why I say that the turbo was maxed out.

My car this last weekend on 26psi ran a 12.6 but on 12psi it ran a 12.4. how is that possible?
O it could be that i was spinning the tires through 4th and shifting to 5th. on 12psi I was still spinning in 3rd. This is with 22x8x15 slicks. Im trying to get some 26s to help with this problem.
once i get the tire spin undercontrol i dont see 10s being a problem.

But if you do fix it, everyone here would love to know how you did it!! BTW, when you ran on 26psi did you have it tuned at all? Cuz that could be your problem.

No problem. im going to try some stiff coil overs and struts. and if it comes to wheely bars im going to do it i already have plans for how to do them. but my cars a race only car so im not worryed about how it rides on the road. but right now im only getting 2.0 60' times.

The Mazda 3 and Protege share the same internal components in the transmission. This car has broken 3 transmissions and 1 Welded LSD. It is now running the Cryo treated tranny with Quaife LSD.(first)
You should be getting your tranny very soon.
