Basically, I am trying to look for a good sound editing program for MAC running OS-X..
I need something that's easy to use, but still not lacking in features. At a minimum, I should be able to record voice, mix some of my own tracks, add in various sound effects and beats, and record my own CDs.
I've come across a couple (i.e. Apple GarableBand) but they are all very pricey and take up HUGE amounts of disk space.
Any suggestions? Possibly even free downloads that have good functionality?
