I myself have been scammed before by Spoony back in the day. I've also actually gotten a chance to read through a few other threads where members have been scammed.
I feel really bad and I think we need to take further action in providing a safety-net for members to trade and buy.
I think the rating system Antoine has put together is a great start, but we need something that has more organization. It is a PITA to look through the numerous posts sometimes, even though the search button is as easy as a click away... I still feel that we should have a more detailed rating system for members...
The rating system can be a thread by mods listing sellers in "GOOD" standing alphabetically and sellers in "BAD" standing similarly.
How would everyone feel about a "certified" seller. Someone who can provide all of their personal information to Antoine. (no socials!! Just full name, address and phone numbers) This member might have a "Certified Seller" label somewhere visible under their name in a color or something similar to make some buyers and traders more at ease with transactions.
I'm just looking to prevent some further problems from happening. I know you can't stop all scamming but I feel that this could be a good start.
Any intelligent suggestions or input would be appreciated. No flaming please.
