Sub placement in Protege Sedan

Shoot...so I'd have to loose the pass-thru, huh? I mean...does it have to be an air tight seal, or can it juat be a horn-like protrusion that pushes right up against the seat?

it doesn't have to be NASA certified but the less air that is allowed to travel into the trunk, the more pressure there will be on the cabin-side of the enclosure making it louder inside the car.

Crap! I just typed a great set of questions that were all stream of consciousness, and my brother unpluggeed the net cable as I sent it! Piece of crap! Lemme see what I can salvage...

Do I need to vent it into the front cabin, or am I just making a sealed enclosure on the front w/ one wall being the seatback? If I make a baffle/cone/horn how will it affect the sound? Better to mount this on the floor, or from rack where it is on the MSP (making new fiberglass enclosure if I do this)? That's all I can remember...dangit!

Anyone else who has opinions and experience, your thoughts are appreciated!

Here's my setup:

It's a pre-fab enclosure from Sounddomain w/ two 10s....rattles the trunk on the outside but you can really feel it in the front seats. Nice, clean bass w/ the bandpass...
