i was driving my work van (97 f350)this morring heading to the job and i had to go down this country road
iwas going around a kinda sharp corner it was 25mph when all of a sudden this 240sx came drifting around the corner his ass end was in my lane
well to make a long story short we hit it spun him around the other way and he hit a tree
no one was really hurt i have a bruse on my forearm from the air bag
the guy i work with got his nose broke im assuming because he wasnt wearing his seat belt
the two kids in the car had some bumps and bruses
but the van and car are both totaled
the kid told me that he had just started drifting and now he would have to build a new car hes like 19 or 20
the good thing is my boss isn't blaming me for the crash and no one got hurt too bad

Jesus help the guy that does something like that in front of me and makes me wreck my car.

Good for you for having self-restraint. I can't say I would've done the same.

I can't believe the moron was drifting in traffic in the middle of the day
he was just too fast...too furious

glad everyone was ok though

well rick that i work with was keeping me calm saying that if i took the guys head off i could get fired so i did
he got a reckless driving and failure to maintain control of his car
and it wasn't in the middle of the day it was 7:30 am

That's an expensive ticket.. Hopefully the moron will learn from this.

Glad you and your coworker are okay...

You know the cop probably wanted to smack that kid in the head too...

We can only hope the idiot loses his license....

A guy working at Radio Shack the other day asked me if I liked my miata, and if I went drifting with it. I told him I liked the car, and that drifting isn't my thing. He asked me if I knew anything about the FD RX-7, my reply was "If you are going to drift, buy an old ae86 corolla.. that way when you hit a lightpost you won't be wrecking a nice car."

Priceless!

moron. i would have been asking for an ambulance saying my back and my neck hurt from all the money i would be carrying......morons like that don't learn from traffic tickets or wrecks, because their parents just buy them a new car. he even said that he was just going to have to build a new car.....you can't fix stupid but you can make the bastard pay for it.

check this s*** out today when i got to work my boss (the owner) called me into the office and showed me a letter form the dumb ass' lawyer stating that they were going to sue the company for damages to the car and hospitial bill i looked after reading it and though i was fired on the spot but jack had a smile on his face and told me that i shouldn't worry about it, it wasn't my fault the kid it stupid he just wanted me to know what was going on and if any thing i would have to go to court
i can't beleave these people its there ****** up kid and there trying to sue the company

Lets not start generalizing here. The moron was drifting on a public road, just like street racing. Before we blow this crap out of proportion, lets use some tact on the things we say. I personally LOVE drifting. I love the sport, and I think its incredible to watch in person. No one in this forum can say they havent street raced once in their life.
