Stripped Side Molding...

Today I stripped off my Side molding thats to Equinox's post in the how to area, because i didnt realize that there were no pins or holes of any kind behind them... but regardless went out and got some 3M Adhesive Remover and went to town... More then likely a little heat of some sort would have helped but i got them off and clean, although my thumbs paid the price... It was well worth it the car looks sooo much cleaner... So i would definatly recomend doing this, if you like that look that is...

if you can't get 3m adhesive remover, rubbing alcohol works wonders on the paint, also works great for bird poop and tree sap

Yes it is def. intensive work, but is great when done, great job! =)

I think my thumb nails still hurt and I did the removal over two months ago.

I agree it is well worth it once you get it all done. I actually did one side one day and the other side the next day, it looked kinda weird.

I was planing on doing this when my car was repainted but will do this now! Suck that it got so cold maybe a heat gun will change its mind.
