Strange sound from engine bay...Help!

Every now and then I get a strange sound when accelerating or just giving the car gas in park/neutral. It typically sounds like a whirring whistle type sound. I have no idea what it is and the sound is driving me nuts. Anyone care to throw some knowledge at me? I recorded the sound since it happened to pop up tonight on my way home from work. Again this sound doesn't always occur when driving the car. When I got to record it, it sounded more like a croaking sound rather than a whistle. Seems to happen at around 2k rpm.

To me sounds like your intake is restricted are you running a stock intake ?

the intake draws air from the lower grill could you have leafs or something like a plastic back in cowel ?

Just checked. Not seeing any visible debri. Can a build up of small debris cause the sound? Maybe I should clean off the grill anyways?

Yes if you look at the feed for the intake it comes off the bottom of the bumper and snakes up to the filter box .. try to remove your filter box so u can see inside ..also if its a factory intake the flexible rubber from the factory can rip and tear easy i replaced my intake because i didn't want to go back to the factory design.
my pro5 has a tiny whistle or whine but that's because the intake is much larger and shorter sounds super cool when i open it up ..lol

Sounds like a bearing or belt to me, but it's really hard to tell. Next time it does it, stick your camera under the hood.
