Strange intermittent noise

My car making a weird noise while driving sometimes. Not too sure of the cause either. It sounds a dot matrix printer. It happens on the highway mostly, but has continued when slowing down on off ramps as well. My steering wheel also shakes, but I am not too sure if the sound, and the shaking are connected. The sound doesn't happen when the wheel shake, that's why I don't think they're connected.

I think the shaking is because I have a bent wheel. The stock Yozora wheels are really weak. I think Gravity said that he bent two of his.

Any help would be good, thanks.

My wheel shakes while I brake lightly, although that's been covered by numerous people on this forum. And that vibration probably is your bent wheel. Not sure what the noise could be though, sorry dude.

Could it be sway bar links? Mine makes a clicking noise when I hit holes and the suspension droops even a little bit...

There's no clicking noises, just the occasional shakes and a weird vibration noise. It's sounds just like a dot matrix printer is outside of my car. Like old school ones, ya know? I wish I could record it without getting all the road noise.

And it changes constantly, one time it's louder next time it's softer. Sometimes it's higher pitched, other times its lower pitched. It's a real stumper. I'm going to change over to my winter tires this weekend to see if that makes any difference in anything.

Got my winter tires on, and have been driving around for a about a week.

So far as I can tell, the vibrations felt through the steering wheel have gotten better, not cured but better than what it was. The weird humming noise only seems to happen on fresh pavement with these tires, so I am guess that is just tire noise and the winters are just slightly better.

But during my tire swap I noticed that the driver side disc has more wear than the passenger side.... I gotta figure that out now.
