Stock wheels/Larger Tires

Well everyone, its time for me to get new tires, I was thinking of going with a larger tire then the stock 195/50/16. No real reason just hoping to fill the wheel well gap. I'm lowered on eibachs and tokico HPs, would a tire size of 205/55/16 be possible without rubbing?

someone ran 205/55-16 azenis over the stock wheels on ground controls (i think) and didn't rub. you should be good.

205/55R16's are a lot bigger than stock size. Personally, I think you should go with a 205/50R16 which is just slightly larger than stock or a 205/45R16 which is smaller by the same amount. With any of those tires you're looking at pretty much the same width though.

205/50-16 looks "perfect" IMHO. I have the Yokohama ES100 205/50s and it looks good.

I like them, do you know what he was lowered on though? I think I will go with the 205/55 and just be careful on the bumps.

go with the 205/50's, you shopuld yave NO problems at all.

you can even go 215/50. There are some companies that make it for a 6" wheel. I believe the Falken RT-615's will fit. But a 205 will fit no problem at all but do not go 55. 50 is more than enough.

these are my 205/50-16 Dunlop FM901s. They fill out the wheel well a lot better.
