Story:

A couple of weeks back I noticed my car was sitting a little bit lower. I was at a gas station and parked right beside a new 2003 P5. The owner asked what kind of lowering springs I had on? I said its pure stock. My P5 is 2 years old this July(one of the first shipments). side by side we put a snow brush from his bumper to mine and my car was about and inch lower than his. He figured the new P5s are higher. I have no sound system, and my tank was 1/4 to empty and his was full. I thought sweet!!!

But then a couple of days ago, I was driving my brother and sister. Both were sitting at the back, I went over a bump and I bottomed out. They can't be that heavy, they weigh around 105, 110 respectively. This now happens everytime I have passengers, and I go over a bump. Toronto highways are bumpy as hell in the winter time.

What can it be?? Are my springs or shocks worn?? This never happened last winter, then again its about 15 deg C colder this season, maybe the gas/oil in the shocks aren't doing the trick?

Anyone exprience this or have any ideas?
