Im trying to take my stock stereo out of a 2002 protege 5 and i need help i have NO idea how to remove it, thanks a lot

take it to a reputable car audio shop and pay them to do it. Ask if you can watch. Private stores will be more likely to say yes.

Head pops are easy but are problematic for those that are unexperienced in car audio. The $40 you'll pay is well worth not nuking your new deck, your stock deck or any number of circuits int he car.
