my friend told me to remove the recirculating line on the bpv so that it would sound like a bov is this bad, and what whould happen if i drove with this off?
 
the car will run better with recirc for sure that extra air gets placed back into the airflow ...

Don't remove the recirculating line. It may make an interesting sound, but your car won't run very well. Until you get a tuner who can program the ECU to overlook the air that your car expects to pass through that tube, you'll be losing efficiency and causing more problems than the sound is worth.

Like the previous poster said, if you want your car to make a cool sound, get a ram intake or a cold air intake.
 
Did it on my wife's CX7 when we first got it just to see what happened. Drove good, just not great!
 
Yeah, I wouldn't do it. It's like poking holes in your header so it will sound better.
