Well we were rearranging the shop over the weekend and found 3 sets of black powdercoated stock bpv hardpipes all boxed up and ready to go that we didnt even realize we had. Nothing wrong with them, just overstock so rather than unpack them and put them back on the shelf I decided to give 3 people a hell of a deal...Of course it includes humhoses, reducer hose, and t-bolt clamps and everything else. 1st 3 people to pm me get em...after that back to $200 plus shipping.

I think these are long gone guys, There was a post in the FS section and I remember them being claimed same day.

Hi,

I am a new memeber and I would like to know if your hardpipes are comparable to the one "TurboHouses" and if they will work well with the forge BOV that many members use.

Could i use this hardpipes for later IC upgrading? Do they have all the appropriate fittings?

Do you have any pics?

Thanks for all your help

DO NOT BUY THESE! I just ordered a set and had the worst fitment of any part I've ever seen. I've sent DSMconvert a pm requesting a new set immediatly that will actually fit on the car. Until something gets worked out on my situation I'd advise against buying any of these. The jig used for the pipes is WAY off... Here are the problems I'm having with them.

1. the stock bypass nipple is in the wrong spot and facing the wrong direction...not even close. I'd say it's off by at least 3"'s too far to the left. Not to mention it's not even pointing in the right direction.

2. on the upper pipe, inlet to the IC, the pipe is too long. When attached to the turbo and rotated towards the IC the pipe sits up against the side of the IC inlet...it would need to at least be shortened another 2.5" and brough back to the right another 1.5" to make it even close.

3. the lower pipe is ALMOST perfect except it is too long. When you put it on the TB the bottom piece is butted firmly against the IC outlet and there is now way to put the hose on because the pipe is not bent correctly to clear the treanny mount. If I had felt like cutting a notch out of the tranny mount I could've made the bottom pipe fit....i didn't...I guess I'm just picky like that.

The pipes looked beautiful and the kit was very complete. If only it fit like it was supposed and the silicone was the correct size. I've never had to fight so hard with connectors before in my life. Apparently it was out of the question to use hose and clamps that are just a hair bigger (say 2.5") to make it easier to fit everything and tighten down appropriatly.

BUYER BEWARE. when this situation with my set gets resolved I'll be sure to post the results. Right now I'm demanding a new set be made and rushed immediatly to me as this is going on a customers car and has already been delayed once before. As soon as I get new correct piping I'll send this old crap back.

I dunno man, your sig does say you have a supercharged P5 and not an msp, which the pipes where designed for...any pics of the engine bay and poor fitment?

I really don't understand your problems. I installed the whole kit a few weeks ago and everything is A OK.

The stock BPV is a little higher that with the stock pipe. So what. It fits nice and works good too. No problems there.

Fitment is tight in some areas, but no so tight that you cant install them. For the tranny mount problem, yes I give it to you, it does rub a bit. But by the way I look at it, it touches barely that I really dont think it will wear through. I'll keep an eye one it though. If it does seem like it's going too far, I'll shave a bit of metal on my tranny mount.

For the silicone hoses. Use a bit of motor oil around them. They will fit like in a girls "/&"/$"$?% (boobs2).

Finally, I love them. Good workmanship. I'm not saying that they are super easy to install, but I'm not even a mecanic and everything went fine.

Oh yeah, and from what I know they are the only pipes that you can still use the stock intake box with. Good for me in winter, because with a SRI or CAI our cars hit fuel cut.

Ignore temporary SRI.

I am planning to keep the stock airbox, so are these the only one that will eventually fit?
By the way, from your experience, is it better to have a dual setup or a forge BOV. I am still debating about this?

Could you use this pipes for later IC upgrades?

Thanks for all your help.

for those who don't know...I do installs and custom fabrication here in alabama. A guy asked me for custom hardpipes for his msp. I told him to order these pipes. He gave me the money, I bought these pipes. They showed up eventually (after being delayed). I drove over an hour (each way) out to the customers house to install these. The fitment is WAY off. I'm not just some kid with a wrench who doesn't have any experience with this stuff. I'm an ase certified mechanic whos designed his own custom MSP exhausts and 2.0L supercharger kits for the protege not to mention turbo kits for the 2.3L ford 4cyls. I know what I'm doing. I've done a few FMIC installs on proteges before without any problems like this.

When I placed the upper pipe flat on top of the turbos outlet the piece that goes into the IC id over to the right about 2"'s too far. Also, the nipple for the bypass is pointing in the wrong direction causing such an extreme bend on the hose that pinches the flow off. I didn't get any pics of the bottom pipe but to further explain it, we placed the reducer on the TB and slid the pipe in without clamps to test-fit everything. the pipe laid firmly against the tranny mount and only .1-.2" away from the IC outlet. There is no room to move the pipe to even get the other hose on there because it's pressing so hard against the tranny mouont already.

This is simply a case of a bender who didn't take their time and do this correct the first time and now it's causing me major problems with my customers.

notice in the pics I post that the bypass tube is NOWEHERE near where it needs to be to fit properly and the outlet side of the top is WAY off from the IC. Both pictures were taken with the top pipe placed directly on top of the turbo outlet in it's correct postion.
