Well finally installed my boost gauge after a long time. Few questions about the psi. While idle the psi reads 24 below 0. Is that how it is suppose to be or is it suppose to be sitting at 0? I only really got to get on it once since the install and I was in third gear and it held at 14 psi til redline. Is that what it is normally suppose to be at? I'll have to run somemore test when I get some time.

Well in 2nd gear 5500 rpm it drops from 14 psi. Haven't gotten it up there in 3rd. I messed up in my other message I didn't get it to redline. I need to get onto some open road to see how the stocker handles. I think I want a turbo inlet now... Woo wee!

At idle your car produces vacuum (negative air pressure shown on gauge). On a normally aspirated car, at WOT the pressure goes to zero. In a boosted car, you have forced induction and positive manifold pressure. That is what your boost gauge is reading...pressure above normal atmospheric pressure. At 14psi your turbo is cramming 14psi more air than what the car would breathe normally, understand?

14psi is a bit low, but it's not unheard of. Try it in the higher gears (4th-6th) and you should see right around 15.
