With TX Speed Demons help we got a boost gauge installed in my MSP today...

We took the car for a test drive and my car is holding @ 8psi stock... (headbang)

that makes me very happy!

Damn, I wish my car was like that. Mine holds steady at a massive 5psi. It's amazing how these cars vary so much.

ya, my friend that helped me install the gauge has an FMIC and intake and he is only booting 6-7psi... I am glad that I got a gauge for this reason... I wanted to see what I was boosting.. now I know why my car feels so strong... now I can't wait to get an exhaust..!!

Yours will get up there with mods too. Mine was only 5psi when I started, but after the FMIC and SRI I'm peaking at 7 and holding at just over 6. And the main restriction is the exhaust. Add a turbo-back and our stock setting will probably be over 7, maybe up to 8. And you'll be in a much better position to up the boost at that point and get very large gains.

Still it doesn't seem fair does it. I'm jealous.

When I had got my intake and harpipe kit installed, I hoped it would boost a little higher, but it had no effect on boost. I did notice it accelerated alot smoother though.

Do have just the hardpipes or an FMIC?
