I Recently Tried installing a Peswips in my car to control my aftermarket radio with my factory SWC buttons. After Failing To Program the Buttons I Decided To Try The SWC With My Factory Radio. No Surprise There They Still Don't Work.

Anybody Know Where The System Could Be Defective???

Thanks In Advance!!!

I know where I would start trouble-shooting......the connectors into the fuse block...make sure they are seated correctly and locked down.....

Retrace all the steps you took in the install and double and triple-check each step.....it's likely something simple...good luck !

Isn't it always the most simple mistakes that end up taking the longest to figure out. I am a computer technician, and I often see around the industry that people tend to look for the hardest solution first instead of the easiest.
On a side note, this pain medication they gave me for my back is making me delirious, and I have never posted so much in one morning - I hope it never runs out.

That does not sound right since you can not use the PESWIPS on a factory radio. Make sure your radio is compatible, the wire and plug is connected properly, and its programmed right. You can also go to www.pac-audio.com for wiring info since they are the same adapters.

I have the same problem could you guys tell me which color wire is for 2004 mazda3 steering wheel controls is ? or witch pin ? i have 24 pin connector.

Pin 9 should be Brown with a Yellow Stripe and Silver Dots. That's the steering wheel control. I installed the SWI-Jack and you have to also ground pin 10 which is White with a Black Stripe and Silver Dots as well. Don't know if this is true for yours or not.
