i hate this state.
nobody will inspect me cause of my lame 35% tint in the front passenger windows.
state law says unlimited in the back and nothing in the front, which makes no sense to me. there are plenty of arguments for this law like "cops security, visibility, etc and even so this law doesnt make sense.
whats good is it for the cops if you can just hide a bazooka in the back cause is so dark they cant see. and what good does it do to have no visibility in the back but a ton of light in the front. nosense i say.

the best states are the south and and south west.... the warmer it is the more tint you can get... in maine i can only get 50 and 50..... lame as shiat if you ask me... no darker then 35 i can see but 50... come on.... good luck with the tint issues man

no tint on the front windows for us in california, but that doesn't stop us since we don't have inspections other than smog.

Iowa's law states that tint must allow more than 70% light in.
At least the rest of the windows can be as dark as I want.

I have 5% tint on the rear 5 windows of my car. Im debating if I should tint the driver side and passenger with a very light tint. Im very sensitive to light, so I actually need tint to deflect a lot of the glare.

I can tell you that unless you are in a shady area where shady things happen then you can have limo tints here in South Florida and will not be hasseled. Plus, it's so cheap to ahve it done down here that even if they stop you and make you do the lame pull off routine you can get it redone really cheaply.
