starting on my MP5-T project

Let's make this a new forum rule:

Anyone who's making over $10000 a month are obligated to contribute atleast 1% of their income every month to the forum, the money will be put in a pot, and we will have a drawing every 3 months, one lucky mofo gets all the cash, and must use the money toward his protege. Ofcourse the donor(10G rollers) are not eligibale for the drawing. lols

We should pass this rule on a majority vote, all with me say 'Aye'!

(2thumbs) :D (rofl) :D (2thumbs)

welll shooooptidy-dueeee if im 17 and make $$$. this is not a critic club its a car club.
i bought the MP5 becouse i like the car, i could have gotten 1999 M3 but i got the mp5 insead becouse i LIKE THE CAR.

If the price includes install, I would say just go for it. You might be able to shop around and get a couple hundred bucks cheaper, but if its a local shop, youre better off. It would be easy for you to take it back if you have any bugs with the install or parts.

And if youre making good money right now, it's not that big of a deal to spend a couple hundred bucks for convenience.

Last... you should know that the market is in the crapper right now, so the mortgage re-fi thing isn't going to last forever. Once the economy goes back up, I don't see people re-financing for a long time (rates are at a 20 or 30 yr low).

So while you are out dumping money into your p5, BMW, and whatever else you want to eventually get... stop and think a second. #1, it would be smart to "save" some money. #2, before you go to college and eventually become a millionaire, you might want to drop a few bucks on a dictionary and maybe some leapfrog books you need to get accepted into college first. I had better spelling/grammar skills in the 5th grade.

(I am not trying to flame you, I am just being honest)

Kind regards and good luck.

LOL! Leapfrog books! Maybe he could pick up some extra cash being sponsored by Leapfrog. But for real I am the worst speller in the world so I ain't mad at him.

Chill out guys...enough with the "let's all judge him" crap...true or not true...who cares...please stay on topic!

If you are makign that kind of money at that age, please dont blow it all on your car. Realize that at 17, you have almost no expenses. You could save some serious bank.

I would save 100k a year, do the job for 4-5 years, then start college with 1/2million in the bank set aside to start that performance you want.

LAME....Im going along with the rest of you on this one...BS!

The guy can not even spell...no offense but putting (sp?) by a word does not make up for the fact that you did not spell a word right...The least you can do is correct your spelling in WORD and then cut and paste it back to your post...

Plus it is hard to believe that you are a 17 year old making 10 grand a month unless you are involved in a little drug trafficking or maybe Dog Walking...;) So I am very hesitant in believing that your output for a firm is worth the firm paying you that much money for unskilled labor.

So bottom line...No offense but for me to believe this I need your picture with a considerable amount of cash or the car parts you have stated that you will be buying.
plus the number to the firm in which you work so that i can confirm they would be stupid enough to pay that much for such a unskilled task...
:) <O:p</O:p

But good luck ;)
Just understand where we are comming from...

hahha... this thread is so old. reminds me of the thread where that guy posted a pic of some porn star as his gf... wait.. that thread is only 1 week old.

Damn with 120k a year I would be going after a TT Supra, not a Mazda. I do like the idea of getting an M3, yet I dont understand why you would buy one in Europe to import it over here and waste another couple grand just getting it into the states and state legal, especially when you CAN get them here in the states already. Now if you were getting a Skyline or something I could understand....but for something thats already here in the states, keep it simple.

Also I have to agree with saving some money...I dropped all my money on my 5 when I had it, now I am in college and selling whatever I can to eat each month. But I def understand the desire to totally rock out your ride as quick as possible.

I am trying to do the same thing with the 2001 1.8T Beetle I am getting in a week, god knows it needs some serious mods to not look like a total chick car. Haha.
