Starion Intercooler Installation Prices?

Did a search and couldnt find anyone quoting prices on their own starion intercooler setups, just prices on the intercooler by itself. was wondering if anyone can help me out and gimme an idea on how much it would cost to fabricate a starion intercooler into a MSP. ballpark or exact estimates are gladly accepted. thanks!

you're going to have to get it custom done, so it's going to depend entirely on the shop that does it. i'd say between $100 and $600

I'm in Parkville MD, Andrew (Wagner Motorsports) is just a short drive north in York, PA he can give you the best hook up around on an install of a starion intercooler. I have one on my car installed by Andrew see pic below. And he has developed an intcooler upgrade kit for use with the MSP that requires not cutting of the bumper. See he is probally the most expeenced person in the country now with differnt Protege and including the MSP. Checkout his web site (link in my signature) and give him a call.

This is a fmi for the mazda speed. The core is 3"x6"x18". The piping is all ss with turbonetics hose fitting and ss t-bolt clamps. I provide the polished alum. brakets to remove the stock intercooler. You can get the bov(greedy type s or the turbonetics raptor). There will be a intake pipe for the car and a KandN filter with the kit. price $975

yea, ive done my "research" on the wagner fmi kit especially since the group buy has been announced, but i think i want to save some money and just fabricate a starion. id love to get the wagner, especially because of his convenient location, but i just dont see me gettin it in the near future. but ill def keep him in mind when tax time comes around, if i dont have the starion in by then...

you can get an ic off ebay some people done that and made their own pipes all for under 400$

yea, there are a good number of good looking, mint starions on ebay. if i go through with it, ill prob get mine from there...
