Standback? AP? MBC + BCD?

I have the following mods so far: Corksport DP, Mazdaspeed Cat-Back, Forge BPV, Injen CAI. I have the following mods on the way: Corksport FMIC, FP Internals, Corksport MP.

I am already having some boost cut/fuel cut, as the ECU is seeing boost higher than 18lbs during spikes. I figured that with a MBC and BCD I could control that, however from my brief reading this is not ideal.

Not sure if I would benefit from an AP as I have ZERO Cobb parts on the car, and my understanding is that their maps are designed for use with their own parts.

As for the Standback I have not researched it all that much and don't know how difficult it is to tune and get working.

Any recommendations?

Seems like your going for big power. Im sure the AP would help you but you will most likely need to upgrade your fuel pump. They are coming out with lots more maps and ive heard you can can a custom map just for you if you send them your data logs.

If you plan on upgrading your turbo I would get the standback. If not than the cobb ap should work fine and you could always resell it.

Just curious but why would a mbc be bad? Even with the cobb . . . with FMIC / and downpipe you will be spiking pretty high.
