stained CAI??

maybe you can help...my injen cai is spotted and i can't seem to remove the stains??? i've tried numerous products...any thoughts? thanks all!

no, i tried eagle one "never dull" and that just shinned it up but didn't remove the stains.....maybe i'll give it a try?

1500 then 2000...if the 1500 is taking too long u might get away with 1000 then the 1500, 2000...then some polish.

yeah, that's true, you can probably go down to 600 on metal. I was just thinkin about paint...you dont wanna go that low.
 
is the intake SS? I thought it was aluminum..not sure though since i dont have one (shrug)
 
I have found flitz to work on just about anything though, which is why I reccomended it.
 
couldnt u just use some rubbing compound...that s*** should come right off.. no sanding..
 
If you want to go with flitz, I think I picked it up at Ace hardware here in town. But a rubbing compound should do the trick as well. I would try it on a small area first to make sure it doesn't scratch.
