SRI CEL codes

I recently recieved an ATP extension kit:

ATP-MS6-012

I used the kit with a 2.5-3" coupler and a short section of 3" pipe to make a SRI. At the same time I added a 3.5" ETS TMIC. After an ~30 miles of driving the CEL came on.

The MAF housing which came withe the kit had a silicone tubing liner to the size of the ID of the MAF housing with a cutout for the MAF sensor.

Is this normal for SRI to set CELs? Is it the way I installed the parts? Any idea why the silicone tube lining is in the MAF housing?

I haven't pulled the code since it is Xmas eve but I will come friday.

The ATP MAF housing is garbage. Sorry you wasted your money on that piece.

Has anyone installed the AEM air straightener to correct it?
