Yay so...the previous owner of my 08 MS3 stuck a Cobb SRI on there and the bracket under the batt is now busted, like everyone else'. (boom03)
Not relishing the remove bat, batt box, ECU, etc. journey to repair this flimsy ass piece of steel and, going to the track tomorrow anyway, I zip tied it to the old airbox mount near there to stop the MAF from swatting around the engine bay.
I'll get in there some day but, damnit anyway. Plus, the douche put the screw base of the hose clamp for the inlet tube right against all the ECU wiring...how long before that wore through the tape and into the harness if I hadn't checked it?
